What is Anti Wrinkle Injection?
Botulinum toxin, often referred to as Botox® is a naturally occurring protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium Botulinum. The toxin blocks the transition of chemical messages sent from the nerve to cause the muscle to contract. Without these messages, the muscle stays in a resting state until the ‘messengers’ recover. This recovery takes approximately 8 to 12 weeks on average
The Anti Wrinkle injection procedure
We will go over your concerns and targeted areas, I will ask you to make exaggerated facial expressions to see where the lines are, I will then clean your skin and draw on some points where you will be injected, the treatment will take around 30 minutes - this is a non invasive treatment and you will be surprised at just how great the results are for such a quick treatment!
Areas We Cover with Botox
Forehead Lines - Across the forehead - Will give a slight lift to the brows and eye area
Frown Lines - 11's - In between the eyebrows
Eyebrows - Creates an eyebrow lift
Crows Feet - Smooths around the eyes and lifts connecting areas
Bunny Lines - On the sides of the nose, reduces lines and narrows nose especially when smiling
Gummy Smile - Relaxes the mouth when smiling so only the teeth are on show
Nasolabial Folds - Reduces the lines from your nose to the corner of your mouth
Marionette Lines - Reduces lines from corner of mouth to your chin. Creates an upwards resting position & releases tension
Chin Dimpling - Smooths chin dimples / ripples
Lip Flip - Ideally you would opt for lip filler over a lip flip as the side effects of this procedure mean you can't whistle or drink through a straw, we only advise this procedure in very special circumstances. Anti Wrinkle Injection Results
After your treatment it is expected that you will start to see an improvement within 2 or 3 days. The full result will occur at the 2-3 week mark. Avoid extremes of heat or cold, vigorous exercise, lying down or leaning over for 4-6 hours. Botulinum toxin is not suitable for lines present without expression (static lines) we would need to correct this with filler. You'll look not only younger but you will feel fresher! The lines will be reduced and your face will appear ever so slightly lifted with a fresh look, you will look hydrated and have a natural glow
How long will my
Botox last?
Results tend to last 3-4 months. Movement will begin recovering from 8 weeks. Frequent treatment at intervals of less than 3 months is NOT recommended
